Skyline High School football players have been named high school sports heroes, while Monroe High School and Windsor High School athletes have been honored for their high school games.
Monroe High School has won all six games, while Windsor High has won seven games and has a 3-0 record.
Windsor High scored twice on Saturday night to beat Monroe High 6-0.
The Hornets are one of only three teams to win six consecutive games.
Two of the Hornets’ players, Ryan Lutz and Cody Lutz, were named high-school athletes.
Lutz also received a gold medal.
The Hornets have been undefeated in five games.
