‘No-go zone’ on high street as garda searches for missing teen

Gardaí have been searching for a 16-year-old girl from Cardozo High School in Dublin who has not been seen since Friday.

Gardaí say she has not left her house since 11am on Friday morning, when she left home with a friend.

They have not found her since.

The girl was last seen leaving her home at about 5.45pm on Friday, December 10, leaving the house in the area of East Kilmainham.

Gerry McCann, superintendent of Garda Special Operations, said the search was continuing, but he would not give further details.

“This investigation has been going on for a couple of weeks.

We are still actively working in the neighbourhood,” he said.”

We are looking for any indication of where she might be.

If we find her, we will get in touch with her.”
